Policy & Terms

Booking Policy


 

YOUR BOOKING

Bookings confirmed via e-mail from us or by booking.com us are binding. We reserve the right to cancel bookings due to incorrect details of price and availability. Please note that special rules apply to companies and if you rent all rooms.

Age: minimum 18 years if traveling without parents.

 

ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE

We do not have a formal reception. Self check-in from 15:00 by requesting door codes in advance. We are there to great you between 18-20:00.

Check-out is at 11:00, but you can usually leave your car at the parking for some hours if you wish. Please respect this as we clean the rooms between 11:00 and 15:00.

 

GENERAL DISCOUNTS:

We have some standing discounts but for these you need to booked directly with us.

We give 10% discount if you book 5 nights and 20% if you book 10. If you pay these non-refundable you can split these over the year as you wish. Since we do not support extra beds we give 15% to families that wish to book an extra room for older kids.

 

PAYMENT:

For your safety we do not charge your card yourself. You pay on arrival by physical or by pay-link in advance, we can not accept cash. The card used does for payment does not need to be the same used at time of booking. Specified receipt can be requested if needed. Invoice Customers must be notified in advance.

 

CANCELLATION POLICY

You can cancel without charge until 18:00 o’clock three days before arrival day or within 24 hours of booking. If you cancel late, please contact us so we can release your room for new bookings be course we will not charge you if we get a replacement booking for the period in question. If you do and still have to pay, we hold that amount as an advance for a later booking within the same year.

That said, if you just don’t show up without contacting us, a “No-Show” we will charge you the full amount. If you are prevented from coming due to an accident or illnesses, contact your insurance company.

 

Other Policies


 

THE BREAKFAST

Breakfast is served from 07:00 to 9:00 weekdays and 8:00 to 10:00 weekends.

If you have food allergies please notify us in combination with your booking. We can not guarantee that your needs will be met if you book with too short notice.

Our breakfast buffet is slated towards lacto vegetarian and we always has some gluten and lactose free supplements available. Given some advance notice of allergic needs we can make better, like freshly baked gluten free bread or vegan pan-cakes.

 

SMOKING

All our rooms are non-smoking rooms according to Swedish tobacco law, so smoking is outdoors only. If you fail to adhere to this rule, we reserve the right to immediately cancel your booking to begin the sanitation process of the room and we will charge you for the cost of sanitation.

 

PETS

Pets are unfortunately not allowed inside Torpet Mon. We have tried.

 

CLEANING

We empty the garbage daily, towels if you have left them at the bathroom floor or needed. Due to environmental impact we only change your linen every third day if you stay for an extended period. But you can order extra free of charge, just inform us or put the sign on the door.

 

STAIRWAY

All guest rooms are at second floor accessible by a step staircase, there is no elevator. In general this is a small private homestead from 1916 so there is very little adaption possible for disabled or otherwise challenged people.

 

HEALTH AND SAFETY

A small first aid kit is available next at the entrance next to the te & coffee, it also have earplugs, aspirin etc.

Always make sure that you know how to handle an emergency, information can be found in your room. All rooms and the corridor has smoke detectors and fire ladders. Note the placement of fire extinguishers and fire-blankets.
